Autobiography of Gardner ’s motor racing career, much in M.G.’s and Jaguars, from BRDC races in the early 1930’s at Brooklands to the salt flats on America . He was the first driver to exceed 200 mph in a light car, and he set over 100 speed records between 1936 and 1950 in the UK , Europe and the USA . His final exploits were setting 1100cc and 1500cc land speed records at Bonneville Salt Flats in 1951, shortly before publishing this book.
