Born in India in 1946 into a family which first came to China and Hong Kong in the 1850’s, Keith Macgregor was educated in England, leaving Oxford University in 1967. He became a photographer, spending much of his time photographing in and around Hong Kong, primarily shooting with medium format film. His photographs have appeared in numerous magazines and his calendars and postcards of Hong Kong have been sent all over the world. 

Macgregor published An Eye on Hong Kong in 1997, featuring his photographs spanning a 40 year period from 1970 to the present day. This book has been hugely successful and is currently in its 6th edition.
