This exhibition for sale is a celebration of uncommon, important and beautiful Asian travel advertisements in the form of promotional posters, hotel luggage labels, and other travel memorabilia from destinations including Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and Singapore. Highlights of this exhibition include a group of 1930's stone lithographic posters issued by K.P.M. Line promoting travel to the Indonesian islands of Java, Bali and Sumatra.  The "Travelling Through Asia" exhibition also brings together a collection of alluringly-designed luggage labels several of which were issued by The Hong Kong & Shanghai Hotels and designed by notable hotel label artist Dan Sweeney, as well as other leading hotels: Raffles Singapore, The Strand Rangoon and the Boa Vista in Macao.
