Eyston broke the land speed record at Bonneville in 1937 and again 1938 driving his Thunderbolt. In this autobiographical book he describes his fascination with speed and the challenges he faced over many years to achieve this dream. The rear of the dust jacket has a blue-tome photo image of Eyston after he had established a World Record 357.5mph atBonneville Salt Flats on 16 September 1938.
The book is clean internally but the boards and spine are worn, the jacket is rubbed and worn at the edges, chipped at spine ends and has a long tear to the front panel without loss. Overall Good/Good. Scarce in jacket.
