Currently based in the UK, Lorette Roberts lived and worked in Hong Kong from 1996 to 2006, painting, teaching and exhibiting her art. She is best known for her illustrated books on Hong Kong and China including Sights and Secrets and Colours and Characters. Her more recent publications include books on China, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has also held five hugely successful solo exhibitions at Picture This in Hong Kong since 2004.
