In 2 volumes with chemises and slipcases. Nicely bound in 20th century dark green morocco Jansenist style. Gilt decorated inner dentelles and gilt lettering. Check points for first edition present: on page 123 correct "sister" for "visiter"; on page 160 "latter" not corrected to "letter. One small tear on pp.401 and some small stains on a few pages, otherwise an attractive copy.
